Everything Marvel, Star Wars and Disney happening at D23 Expo 2022

Disney’s upcoming D23 Expo 2022 will be one of the biggest yet, with three separate events into one multi-day showcase.

With the recent announcement of the first Disney and Marvel games showcase at the D23 Expo 2022, we’ve put together a reminder of what various events will be featured as part of the ceremony and you might be able to expect in terms of reveals and announcements.

For context, the D23 Expo is an event held every couple of years with news relating to the company and the many properties under its umbrella. With that out of the way, here’s everything happening at the D23 Expo 2022

D23 panels

There will be several panels at the 2022 D23 Expo, including one for Disney Live Action, Pixar Animation Studios and another Walt Disney Animation Studios on September 9, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm on September 10. These panels will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center and may be streamed online too.

From these, we’ll likely get a look at more of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future, the next Indiana Jones movie and what’s to come for a galaxy far, far away, which could affect future LEGO sets too.

Disney+ Day

Just before the D23 Expo starts on September 9, 2022, the annual Disney+ Day event will be held and likely shared online. The showcase will almost certainly feature news for the latest Marvel and Star Wars series coming to the platform.

We’ve already received LEGO sets based on Star Wars and Marvel Disney+ shows and specials, including 76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar, so this event will likely be one worth watching.

Disney and Marvel Games Showcase

Taking place on the first day of the D23 Expo 2022, the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase is an all-new part of the expo that focuses on upcoming games and updates for already-released titles for Disney and Marvel.

It has already been confirmed in the announcement for the showcase that a new announcement for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is coming as well as news for other non-LEGO games for those interested in titles beyond the LEGO world.
