Final reviews for LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets appear

Reviews for the last two LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets we needed for a full first look at the range have arrived online.

Following early reviews for the Old Train Engine Shed, Mountain Fortress and Parisian Street, the last two sets in Series 1 have been given the same treatment days before pre-orders are due to start on February 7.

DistractedBldr’s Snack Shack has been reviewed by The Brothers Brick as the smallest set in the range. Despite its size, it packs a lot of details into every angle of the model.

There’s a substantial kitchen with some interesting features including a deep fryer. The review notes that the quick build is a great experience and that the model boasts value and premium quality.

LEGO Wild West sets may not have returned in the official selection just yet (beyond Lone Ranger) but the fan-designed General Store by llucky sits squarely within the classic theme’s historical world. The unique shaping of the exterior walls has an interesting effect on the interior, though Brickset‘s review points out that multiple parts of the model are fragile, despite looking good.

Every single LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 set has now been reviewed, offering an in-depth look at all of the upcoming models ahead of the pre-order’s opening on February 7. Click here to find out more about the selection.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
