First chance to see Solo: A Star Wars Story at midnight

Fans can get a first chance to see Solo: A Star Wars Story tonight, as the film launches at cinemas across the country at midnight.

For the most eager of Star Wars fans, the first opportunity to see the new movie is at midnight tonight. Hundreds of cinemas will screen Solo: A Star Wars Story at midnight, as May 23 becomes May 24. The new film has been directed by Ron Howard from a script by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Alden Ehrenreich takes on the role of Han Solo, with Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Emilia Clarke as new character Qi’Ra.
