VIDEO: First look at LEGO Ideas 21329 Fender Stratocaster

Strum along with 21329 Fender Stratocaster in our first look at the latest LEGO Ideas set, brought to life from a concept by a Slovakian fan designer.

While Tomáš Letenay’s ‘Legendary Stratocaster’ submission only managed seventh place in the public vote for last year’s ‘music to our ears’ contest, it was still handpicked by the LEGO Ideas team to be transformed into an official set in September 2020. One year on, that model has now been revealed as 21329 Fender Stratocaster, a 2-in-1 set that hews closely to Tomáš’s original concept.

To learn more about the 37th LEGO Ideas set – including its piece count, release date and a surprising price point, at least for UK buyers – hit play on the video below, or head to Brick FanaticsYouTube channel.

We’ve already tuned up 21329 Fender Stratocaster and taken it to the stage for our in-depth review, which you can find by clicking here. Alternatively, head here to browse a complete gallery of official images.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
