First look at LEGO Marvel 2021 sets

The LEGO Group has published the first images of next year’s LEGO Marvel sets.

The superhero theme follows a familiar format for 2021, aping this year’s mix of Marvel mechs and Spider-Man sets. Perhaps what’s most surprising about this wave is that it doesn’t include Venom, who’s basically been the star of the LEGO Spider-Man show for the past couple of years.

That still doesn’t mean there are any brand new characters here, though. The closest you’ll get is Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider – all the other sets fall back on tried and tested heroes and villains. But that new Miles Morales minifigure does look pretty ace…

Check out all the images and details of the new sets below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
