First look at more LEGO Harry Potter summer 2023 sets – Deathly Hallows, Quidditch

Online retailer JB Spielwaren has revealed more images of this summer’s LEGO Harry Potter sets, from a buildable Patronus to the climactic showdown between Harry and Voldemort.

We’ve already seen 76421 Dobby the House-Elf and 76422 Diagon Alley: Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes from the summer 2023 range, but JB Spielwaren has now revealed three more sets in the latest line-up: 76414 Expecto Patronum, 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts and 76416 Quidditch Trunk. These three sets cast an even more diverse spell over the summer wave, which is comprised of a mix of playsets and buildable characters.

76414 Expecto Patronum

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €69.99 Pieces: 754 Release date: June 1, 2023

This two-in-one set includes the necessary pieces to build either Harry Potter or Remus Lupin’s Patronus (a stag and wolf respectively). A smattering of trans-light blue pieces evoke the smaller minifigure-scale Patronus elements – basically trans-light blue animal pieces – but the majority of the bricks are in regular light blue. Minifigures of the corresponding characters are included in 76414 Expecto Patronum, and the models each sit on a black display stand.

76415 The Battle of Hogwarts

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €84.99 Pieces: 730 Release date: June 1, 2023

Based on a scene never truly recreated in LEGO bricks before, 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts captures the final moments of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. A brand new Bellatrix minifigure (with dual-moulded arms) faces off against Molly Weasley atop Hogwarts’ ramparts, Neville tackles Nagini and Scabior – who’s making his minifigure debut here – while Harry and Voldemort are locked in Priori Incantatem. The build itself should hook on nicely to the rest of your modular Hogwarts setup.

76416 Quidditch Trunk

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €69.99 Pieces: 599 Release date: June 1, 2023

Remember 76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk? It’s back, in Quidditch form! 76416 Quidditch Trunk opens into a miniature Quidditch pitch, complete with three goals, four house banners, a trophy and all the necessary gear to host a match of the wizarding sport. There’s also a Quidditch player per house, with what looks like Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory and Cho Chang in the box.

Based on previous rumours, we’re still waiting on at least one more LEGO Harry Potter summer 2023 set reveal, so keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for further updates…

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
