The first two episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series are out now

Obi-Wan Kenobi – the highly anticipated Disney+ series – has finally launched on the streaming service, with two related LEGO Star Wars sets now available for pre-order.

Obi-Wan Kenobi follows the adventures of the beloved Jedi, with Ewan McGregor reprising the role. Taking place ten years after Revenge of the Sith, it follows a wearier Obi-Wan in hiding on Tatooine.

While he’s still committed to watching over Luke Skywalker, he is frustrated by Luke’s Uncle Owen and the terrifying, Jedi-hunting Inquisitors – who work on behalf of the Galactic Empire. Hayden Christiansen (who played a younger Anakin Skywalker) is also slated to reprise his role as Darth Vader.

Moreover, two new LEGO Star Wars sets are now available to pre-order at LEGO.com. Each includes an Obi-Wan minifigure, and obviously capitalises on the show’s arrival.

75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter draws inspiration from Attack of the Clones, recreating Obi-Wan’s trip to Kamino. His Episode II-era fighter is modelled in this set, and minifigures of R4-P17 and Kaminoan alien Taun We are also included. The latter minifigure is especially exciting, as this marks the first time a Kaminoan has appeared in a physical LEGO product.

75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe, meanwhile, connects directly to the new Obi-Wan show. Sharing some design traits with Director Krennic’s shuttle, the ship features an angular fuselage and an imposing black colour scheme. A Tatooine-dwelling Obi-Wan can be found here, as can three Inquisitors: the Grand Inquisitor, the Third Sister and the Fifth Brother. Each Inquisitor comes with a fearsome dual-bladed lightsaber to do battle with.

75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter costs £29.99 / $29.99 / €34.99, while 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe costs £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. Picking up these will help you qualify for the two promotional items currently available, although you’ll need to spend a bit more to actually secure the second one.
