Four castle-adjacent LEGO models to get 40567 Forest Hideout

The next gift on the official online LEGO store is a Castle throwback, and you might as well keep your next order thematically consistent.

40567 Forest Hideout has been officially revealed as the next GWP following 40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures, available with orders of $150 or more from June 15 to 22. We’re still waiting on details for the UK and Europe, but assuming that it will be similar, we’ve put together a list of LEGO castles and castle-adjacent builds to keep any order with the GWP as nostalgic as possible.

4 – 71040 The Disney Castle

One of the most recognisable modern LEGO castles is a set that has been on shelves for six years but is currently scheduled to retire at the end of 2022. 71040 The Disney Castle includes five minifigures and 4,080 pieces to make up the film and theme park icon, filled with references to classic Disney stories to find throughout.

3 – 31120 Medieval Castle

A traditional Castle is next on the list as LEGO Creator has become the modern-day home of retro themes. 31120 Medieval Castle is exactly as the title suggests, featuring more Black Falcon knights following their initial return, a dragon and a full fortress – and that’s only one of three possible builds.

2 – 71043 Hogwarts Castle

You might not think of Harry Potter when you think of LEGO castles but this brick-built school of witchcraft and wizardry is nothing short of grand with miniature moments from the movies recreated in the build, and four exclusive minifigures for the founders of Hogwarts included.

1 – 21325 Medieval Blacksmith

Before 31120 Medieval Castle, the Black Falcon’s first returned in the LEGO Ideas 21325 Medieval Blacksmith set. While it may not be a castle, it would make a great addition to a nostalgic display thanks to its immense detail that we discuss more in our detailed review. Its design means it would fit nicely alongside 31120 Medieval Castle and 40567 Forest Hideout, especially with archery already being built-in to the blacksmith model.
