Four new LEGO GWPs rumoured for later this year

The latest rumours suggest four new LEGO GWPs from various different themes will be on their way later this year.

In fresh rumours reported by reliable Instagram user itavixbrix and X user Vision Bricks via brick_clicker, four new GWPs are reportedly winging their way to shelves.

The first to become available is expected to be LEGO Creator 40691 Mythical Pegasus, made up of 278 pieces and coming sometime in August. There’s no further details on the minimum spend or whether it will be restricted to certain themes but at that piece count, it will likely be a relatively higher spend than some others on this list.

September will reportedly bring with it a new GWP in the form of LEGO Friends 40694 River Camping Adventure, made up of 182 pieces. Once again, there are no details on the minimum spend or qualifying details. However, that’s not the only upcoming GWP; Vision Bricks also reports that there will be a LEGO Harry Potter freebie: 40695 Borgin and Burkes. Made up of 190 pieces, this will presumably be a miniature recreation of at least a part of the dark wizard shop, although at that size, we’d assume it’ll only be a section.

Last but not least, we now also have a rumoured release window and set number for the LEGO Ideas contest winner, 40698 Reading, Reading and Reading. After being announced as the winner of the Singles’ Day contest back in July last year, we knew it would be coming as a GWP at some point but now is believed to be coming to shelves October, according to itavixbrix. Seeing as it was a fan-made design from FR_AN, we already have an idea of what it could look like, although it could be subject to change.

Of course, until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group on any of these GWP details, we won’t know for sure if and when they’re coming, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.
