Four more LEGO scene sets we need like Jurassic Park 76956 T. rex Breakout

A brick-built scene model is launching next month in 76956 T. rex Breakout but there are other iconic moments from movies that need a LEGO set.

With the official reveal of a new diorama model for Jurassic Park, complete with a quote printed on a tile paired with rumours of similar models for LEGO Star Wars, there’s still the question of what other movies could see this kind of creation.

For the sake of speculation, we’re looking at four films from the LEGO Group’s current catalogue that we can imagine getting a scene recreation based on a specific moment. Treat all rumours with caution and bear in this mind that this is only speculative.

4 – Harry Potter Duelling Club

Starting with the Wizarding World, the Duelling Club scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets includes not only an option for a wider set but also an intricate design on the carpet. One memorable quote from this scene is Draco Malfoy’s “Scared Potter?” and Harry’s “You wish.” retort. We can also image transparent elements being used to recreate the spells that are cast.

3 – Marvel Avengers: Endgame Portals

It would be hard to make a list of movie scenes that need a LEGO set without mentioning the portals moment from Avengers: Endgame. Acknowledging the fact that any official model of it would never include as many minifigures as it has characters, the sight of arcane gateways open to multiple areas of the universe make for a picturesque and epic scene paired with the “Avengers assemble.” quote.

2 – Batman Begins I’m Batman

Moving to 2005, Batman Begins featured a scene that showcased the brutal and methodical combat that the superhero prefers, sticking to shadows as Falcone watches his henchman disappear around him. Lifting the crook after smashing through a skylight, Christian Bale’s interpretation of the hero makes it clear who he is by stating “I’m Batman.” We can imagine a small model recreating that final moment, perhaps, with a diorama of the warehouse around them.

1 – Back to the Future DeLorean test

Back to the Future is back in the current catalogue of properties portrayed by the LEGO Group thanks to the upcoming 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine. The classic movie features many scenes that deserve LEGO sets, though we’d like to see the very first test of the time machine with the “You built a time machine out of a DeLorean?” quote should the film be chosen for a set like 76956 T. rex Breakout.

How about the chair scene from Reservoir Dogs? That’d rock. Maybe an 18+ set.
