Four new minifigures in the summer 2022 LEGO sets

The new LEGO summer 2022 sets are filled with exclusive minifigures to collect, including these four that deserve your attention before release.

Lots of LEGO models are launching on June 1, or August 1 in the US, and with the multiple waves of builds from a variety of themes, there are quite a few minifigures to be obtained. Whether you prefer NINJAGO or Disney or even creating custom characters, here are four interesting minifigures we found in the summer 2022 sets.

4 – Stuntz rider

Featured in 60340 The Blade Stunt Challenge, the Stuntz rider is exclusive to the set, featuring a purple suit with thick shoulder pads. However, the face print may be the most interesting element thanks to the glasses design that might be useful in creating multiversal Cyclops minifigures.

3 – Knight Mickey

While most of the minifigures in 10780 Mickey and Friends Castle Defenders feature new elements, the medieval version of Mickey Mouse is worth picking out as the latest variant of the classic character in minifigure form, and one that might be a fun reference to display in the rumoured 10305 Lion King’s Castle.

2 – Taishang Laojun

Taishang Laojun is one of eight minifigures featured in 80039 The Heavenly Realms and uses a new hair element to depict the Taoist god, fitting with the legendary nature of the model.

1 – Golden Oni Lloyd

71774 Lloyd’s Golden Ultra Dragon is one of eight new models for NINJAGO Crystalized, and it appears that Lloyd will be embracing his Oni heritage in the new season as the latest golden form of the character makes use of the Oni mask piece originally introduced in the Sons of Garmadon wave.
