Great Western Brick Show this October

With the new look comes a new effort to report on more LEGO UK based events, I am currently looking at adding a LEGO UK events calendar to the site to help list all the LEGO related events in one easy to use place, so if you have a LEGO event based in the UK then please email me and I will add it to the calendar in the very near future.

With that being said one of the most popular LEGO events in the UK is fast approaching. The Great Western Brick Show held on the 3rd/4th October at the STEAM museum in Swindon. The event is very popular with builders from LUGS up and down the UK displaying or in attendence it is a must attend event for most AFOLS. They organisers advise you book tickets it advance. Ticket prices in advance are £14 for adult and £12 for child with family tickets also on sale.

Here is the official event blurb:

“The display will be held at STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon on 3rd and 4th October 2015. We’re planning some amazing new displays as well as all the usual activities for all the family to enjoy and participate in. All models on display are built by LUG members, making it one of the the largest display of LEGO fan models from the UK.”
