LEGO Star Wars 75337 AT-TE Walker delayed?

Speculation is that the upcoming LEGO Star Wars 75337 AT-TE Walker has been delayed, following a change to the official listing on the LEGO website.

YouTuber MandRproductions has uploaded a video regarding the new AT-TE model that is currently scheduled to release on August 1, 2022, worldwide. This date was confirmed as part of LEGO CON 2022 and then when the set was listed on LEGO.com.

However, Ryan speculates that the LEGO Star Wars set may have been delayed for the US audience, after spotting that the listing on LEGO.com for his country no longer states a launch day of August 1, but now reads ‘Coming soon’ instead.

Before moving any further, it should be noted that this is only speculation based on unconfirmed information and should be taken with an appropriate level of caution until announced otherwise.

The YouTuber follows this observation up by claiming to have been contacted by an employee at a toy store who stated that 75337 AT-TE Walker was missing from a reported list of LEGO sets launching at the start of next month. He also suggests that LEGO store employees have indicated to him that fewer copies of this set are expected for launch day in stores, compared with other August 1 releases.

While all of this is still just speculation, past examples of LEGO sets that faced stock issues upon launch include 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent, which was available online but wasn’t ready in selected LEGO stores until an afternoon delivery of stock on launch day.

It could be that the LEGO Group want to avoid a similar situation and hope to bolster stock by delaying 75337 AT-TE Walker in select regions, but there’s no true indication of the set’s stock status at this time.
