Hawkeye season finale episode poster hints at the big bad guy

A poster released to promote tomorrow’s season finale episode of the Hawkeye series on Disney+ hints at the show’s big bad guy.

Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye series concludes its run on Disney+ tomorrow when the final episode of the show is released. The six-part series has followed the continuing adventures of Clint Barton’s Avenger as he attempts to put his past behind him and keep an eye out for a young archer who might be his successor to the bow.

The Hawkeye show is set around the holidays in New York City and has introduced a number of Marvel Comics characters to the small screen, including Kate Bishop, Echo, Pizza Dog and Black Widow’s sister, Yelena Belova. However, episode five ended with a huge reveal, one that could set the stage for an epic showdown and a change in the status quo of the MCU.

Last week’s episode revealed that Kate’s mother, Eleanor, has been meeting with none other than The Kingpin himself, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, who played the exact same character in the Netflix Marvel show, Daredevil. A poster released today also hints at who may have been pulling the strings all along, as the outline of The Kingpin can be seen looming over New York City and the show’s characters.

What this may mean for the MCU going forward is yet to be seen, but we’re pretty sure it won’t be anything good. While no minifigure of The Kingpin has been released to date, we’d certainly like to see one included in future LEGO Marvel sets.

Hawkeye is streaming now on Disney+, with the final episode due to drop tomorrow.
