Huge LEGO DC Batman set rumoured for later in 2023

A colossal LEGO Batman build with almost 4,000 pieces is reported for later in 2023, joining rumours of a proper comeback for the Caped Crusader.

According to FoggyFate and shared by both 1414falconfan and exabrickslegogo, a huge LEGO DC model is coming and as it was also shared by the source in a 2023 DC forum on Eurobricks, it may be coming this year.

Said to be a Batman build, it’s rumoured to feature 3,981 pieces for $449.99, which would make it the largest non-LEGO Art Batman-centric set beating
70922 The Joker Mano at 3,444 pieces. However, LEGO Art’s 31205 Jim Lee Batman Collection still tops it at 4,167 but that uses mostly one-stud round tiles for the mosaic.

This rumoured set follows a previous report that noted a return from the Caped Crusader in LEGO in summer 2023 with ‘multiple sets’ said to be coming to shelves later this year.
