In pictures: LEGO 40516 Everyone is Awesome

Take in the entire rainbow of colour across 40516 Everyone is Awesome with our full suite of images of the LEGO Group’s brand new celebration of diversity and inclusivity.

The newly-revealed display model – which Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton has been teasing through his Twitter account for the past week – champions the LGBTQIA+ community by adopting the iconic rainbow flag, and even includes a corresponding monochrome minifigure for each of its bold colours.

In LEGO terms, that means you’re getting a total of 11 minifigures in hues of black, brown, red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, bright light blue, white and pink, each with a unique hairstyle – and several of which include brand new recoloured elements.

You’ll also net 346 bricks, which build into a display model measuring over 10cm tall and nearly 13cm deep – and all for just £30.99 / $34.99 / €34.99. Take a closer look at the full package by browsing through the gallery below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
