The next LEGO Ideas set has been revealed, and with the release date quickly approaching, it’s time to take a look at the build and see what awaits in 21327 Typewriter. This set was designed with the help of LEGO MASTERS winner Steve Guinness, who submitted the original design to LEGO Ideas.

Clocking in at 2,079 pieces, this model is a life-size interpretation of a modern 20th-century typewriter and features all the functions you’d expect from the actual device. For every key that is pressed, the centre typebar will rise and the carriage moves across as you type.

The provided images give us a close look at the internal mechanism of the typewriter as well as the letter designs on the 2×2 round tiles, which will more than likely find plenty of use amongst your LEGO displays and collections.
