Joker tops bad guy poll ahead of LEGO DC Super-Villains release

With LEGO DC Super-Villains out this Friday, Warner Bros. has been finding out which villain the UK public would most like to be.

To celebrate the release of LEGO DC Super-Villains later this week, Warner Bros. commissioned research to find out which bag guy the UK public would most like to be. The Joker, who is voiced by Mark Hamill in the new game, was the most popular pick.

Here is the top five:

1. The Joker
2. Catwoman
3. Lex Luthor
4. Penguin
5. Harley Quinn / The Riddler (joint fifth place)

Of the 2,000 people surveyed, 24% actually prefer a super villain to a super hero. As for which DC comics villain respondents would most like to have round for dinners, Catwoman topped the poll. The most popular powers were time travel, stealth invisibility and superhuman intelligence.

With today marking National Boss’s Day, most respondents said that their boss is most like the Joker, with 83% of 25–24 year olds saying that their boss is like a super villains. The traits that made bosses villainous included “able to instantly forget their own mistakes” and “excellent at avoiding responsibility”.

LEGO DC Super-Villains will be released on October 19.  It is available for pre-order now, in a standard edition and also a special edition including an exclusive Lex Luthor minifigure.
