LEGO BrickHeadz 40490 NINJAGO 10 is already out of stock online

The one-time pay-with-purchase LEGO BrickHeadz set 40490 NINJAGO 10 is already out of stock at LEGO.com, just a day after it first went on sale.

It’s now listed as ‘temporarily out of stock’ in the UK and Europe, having already sold out in the US on July 5. That distinction in wording suggests it may return to the former two regions, but given this was supposed to be leftover stock from June – when the BrickHeadz triple-pack could be bought for £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 with any NINJAGO purchase above £85 / $85 / €85 – it seems unlikely.

The three statuettes – depicting Golden Lloyd, Nya Samurai X and the Firstbourne Dragon – were launched as part of the wider celebrations of NINJAGO’s 10th anniversary, which have also so far extended to a collection of golden minifigures, clothing ranges and a supersized set in 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens.

That means there’s plenty still available at LEGO.com if you’re hungry for a NINJAGO fix beyond these sold-out BrickHeadz, including the aforementioned expansion to 70620 NINJAGO and 70657 NINJAGO City Docks, alongside a brand new wave of Seabound sets. You’ll also earn double VIP points with all purchases through July 18, while 40486 Adidas Originals Superstar is free with orders above £95 / $85 / €95.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
