LEGO Friends Central Perk Mug GWP still available with select online purchases

The Friends-themed gift-with-purchase mug is still available with all orders of LEGO Ideas 21319 Central Perk at LEGO.com.

You’ll need to grab the LEGO Group’s first set based on the supremely successful sitcom to take advantage of the offer, which bizarrely means the newly-released 10292 The Friends Apartments won’t quite cut it. If, like many, you already own 21319 Central Perk – which has been on shelves since 2019 – that could present a curious predicament.

If you’re desperate for the mug, which is printed with the LEGO and TV show logos on one side and the Ideas set’s minifigures on the other, your only option is to grab what may well be a second copy of 21319 Central Perk (and only through LEGO.com – the freebie isn’t available in stores). You could always sell on the set itself, though, or combine it with your existing model to create an even bigger rendition of the iconic coffee shop.

Of course, if you’re yet to dive into 21319 Central Perk, there’s really no better time to do so than now. A follow-up Friends set arriving in stores suggests the 2019 model’s shelf life could be nearing its end, and the free mug only sweetens the deal. And as the first Ideas set to inspire a spin-off set since 21108 Ghostbusters ECTO-1, it’s sure to perform well on the aftermarket.

You’ve got until June 23 (or while stocks last) to grab the mug, which marks an extension on the offer’s original window of June 1 through June 13. It’s not the only freebie available at LEGO.com right now, though: placing an order of £40 / $40 / €40 or more will also earn you a Speed Champions polybag, 30343 McLaren Elva.

Which means – for those of you playing along at home – buying 21319 Central Perk (which is in stock and ready to go) will net you both the Friends mug and the tiny Elva. Jackpot.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
