LEGO Ideas first 2021 review results postponed

The LEGO Ideas team has postponed the announcement of its first 2021 review results in order to host a giveaway for its two latest sets.

That includes 21329 Fender Stratocaster and whatever 21330 ends up being – it’s currently rumoured to be Home Alone – both of which will apparently be signed by the designers. It’s the Ideas team’s trade-off for postponing the results of the record-breaking first 2021 review until tomorrow, October 15 – a day later than originally intended.

It means we’ll have to wait just a little longer to find out which (if any) of the 57 projects in this round have made the cut, but you can fill that time by heading over to the LEGO Ideas blog and leaving your prediction for what we’ll see enter production.

The LEGO Ideas team will then randomly draw two winners from those who guess correctly (or at least come closest) to each win one of 21329 Fender Stratocaster and 21330. Entries will close five minutes before the announcement, though no specific time for said reveal has been disclosed, so your guess is as good as ours on when that will be.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
