LEGO Ideas third 2021 review results coming tomorrow

The results of the third LEGO Ideas 2021 review will be revealed tomorrow, and you can win a copy of 21333 Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night by guessing them correctly.

The third and final 2021 review contains 36 projects in total – the second-highest of any review to date – with a mix of licensed models, original builds, retro themes and (of course) a Legend of Zelda submission all in contention to join the LEGO product portfolio. Based on previous review rounds, it’s safe to expect somewhere between one and three to progress beyond the review phase.

Following the reveal and release of 21334 Jazz Quartet last month, there are currently just six LEGO Ideas sets in production, with the next rumoured to be 21335 Motorized Lighthouse. Any announced as part of tomorrow’s results reveal will likely land on shelves in mid-to-late 2023. Of course, there’s always a chance that none of the builds in this round will be approved, too.

We’ll find out for sure at 1pm UK time tomorrow, July 12, when the LEGO Ideas team reveals the results of the third 2021 review. For now, browse through the list below to check out all 36 projects in this round:

As per previous LEGO Ideas review results announcements, the LEGO Group is giving away a free set to one lucky fan who correctly guesses which of the 36 projects have been given the green light. In this case, it’s not quite the most recent LEGO Ideas set – 21334 Jazz Quartet – but the one before it, June’s 21333 Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night. It’s a very good prize, though, as you’ll discover in our detailed review.

One winner will be randomly selected from those who guess correctly (or guess closest, if nobody gets it right). Head over to the LEGO Ideas blog to submit your best guess for which of the 10K projects will be realised as an official LEGO set.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
