LEGO Marvel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sets could be revealed today

Three new LEGO Marvel sets – rumoured to be inspired by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – have appeared online, suggesting they’ll be fully revealed later today.

The first trailer for the second Black Panther solo movie debuted at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, giving us our first glimpse at a post-T’Challa MCU – and our first look at Namor, the Atlantean King who looks set to be the film’s primary antagonist. Rumours have been swirling for a while that we’ll see four separate LEGO sets for the movie, numbered 76211 through 76214.

Three of those have now debuted on the LEGO Building Instructions portal, and while there are no images, set names, descriptions or any other details at this stage, history tells us that they’ll likely be fully revealed within the next day or so. (Sets are typically listed on the Building Instructions server just before going live at LEGO.com.)

Those are 76211, 76212 and 76213, which are thought to be priced at $49.99, $9.99 and $29.99 respectively. There’s no sign yet of 76214, which is said to be the most expensive Black Panther: Wakanda Forever set at €79.99 in Europe. While the details of those sets have yet to be confirmed – and should therefore be taken lightly for now – the LEGO Group has at least revealed that products based on Black Panther are coming soon.

When exactly these sets will launch is also uncertain at this stage. Based on products already revealed (and in some cases, available for pre-order) at LEGO.com, we could be looking at any time within the next three months – though given Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently slated to premiere on November 11, an October release seems likely.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
