LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga updates ahead of release

The slow drip of news for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has continued with another Steam update, indicating that preparations for release are underway.

The saga of the latest LEGO title from the team at TT Games continues as another update has been made to the game’s Steam page, specifically changing the landing page that players on the PC platform will be able to see before launching into a digital galaxy far, far away.

The finer details of the amendments to the game’s Steam page include only an update to the banner image, depicting a widened version of the key art that features recognisable characters from across the Skywalker Saga from Obi-Wan Kenobi to Rey herself.

The change was spotted on SteamDB and is the latest in a series of minor changes being made to the game on the platform. These have also included the addition of multiple languages for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You can see the updated banner image for yourself above, with little differences between that and the older version.

For those who are new to the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga story, the release of the game has been indefinitely delayed since April, with months of silence amidst the ongoing pandemic and a lack of appearance at gaming conventions leaving us left to wonder how development is coming along.

With some members of TT Games leaving to form their own studio and others claiming that the game is in safe hands. We’ll be sure to update whenever the next batch of news for the new LEGO Star Wars game arrives but for now, the wait continues as these updates are likely a sign that the preparations for release are ongoing at the very least.
