Last chance to vote in LEGO Ideas X Target poll

Three LEGO Ideas that got to 10,000 votes but fell at the last hurdle get a reprieve, and you can vote for one to get a second chance.

There are more and more spectacular fan-submitted designs making it to the magic 10,000 votes in the LEGO Ideas process.  We’ve seen four cross the line to make it to the ‘consideration’ stage just in the last week. But that’s only the first hurdle a design has to cross. At each review, all the sets that have achieved support then have to be reviewed by the LEGO team, and that’s where – for many would-be set designers – the journey comes to an end.

But three submissions which didn’t get through the review have been given a second lease of life with a partnership between LEGO and Target in the USA. Working Mini Golf Course, Viking Village and Marine Life are being put to a public vote to see which will go though to become the the first unique LEGO X Target Ideas set.

Voting closes at 3pm on Monday May 31, so if you wish to cast your vote, head over to the LEGO X Target Ideas page now.

While the winning set will only be sold in the USA via Target stores, elsewhere in the world it will have the same availability as regular Ideas sets, and the winner is expected to be announced in August of this year, barring delays. It’s running as an additional programme, so won’t take a ‘regular’ Ideas slot from the LEGO Group’s schedule.

Ideas is a popular theme, with ever more advanced models being put though to the review stage. You can see read our article on all the models that have qualified for the next review process, here.
