LEGO 10289 Bird of Paradise now listed on official online store
The biggest of the LEGO Botanical Collection is now listed on the official online store, giving us our first look at the official images for 10289 Bird of Paradise.
10289 Bird of Paradise has bloomed onto LEGO.com ahead of its June 1 release. Not only does this listing seem to confirm a lack of pre-orders for the product, but it includes a full gallery of official images depicting the set around the home.
The model will be the largest build in the Botanical Collection, double the cost of the other instalments in the range; 10280 Flower Bouquet and 10281 Bonsai Tree. However, it might also be the first LEGO set where swaying is a selling point according to the description.
The text on LEGO.com states that by placing the set into a light breeze, the model will sway like a real plant. You can find more about the structure in our in-depth review.
We haven’t yet been able to spot a listing for the other latest 18+ set, 21056 Taj Mahal, but we’ll let you know when that appears on LEGO.com too. Either way, you can expect 10289 Bird of Paradise to launch next month, whilst the other two sets remain out of stock in many regions.
