LEGO ICONS 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine in stock at original US price

LEGO ICONS 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is in stock and available now at Zavvi in the US – and for its original RRP of $169.99.

The LEGO Group increased the price of the 1,872-piece DeLorean by $30 on August 1, taking it to $199.99 at LEGO.com. The Back to the Future set has spent most of its shelf life temporarily out of stock in the US, however, which means very few people will have been able to take advantage of its original price anyway. The good news is that it’s now back in stock at Zavvi – without the price increase.

Given how much trouble the LEGO Group is having keeping up with demand for the set through official channels, this deal is not likely to hang around for long, so act quickly if you want to add it to your collection. The DeLorean – which can be customised to reflect the time machine’s appearance in any of the Back to the Future movies – is the biggest and best version in bricks to date, by some margin.

Check out our written and video reviews to find out exactly why 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine deserves a place in your collection. That’s still true at its new price of $199.99 (it’s just that good!), but this could be your very last chance to pick it up at its original RRP.

If you’re in the UK, 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is also available now with a £5 discount – bringing it down to just £149.99, ahead of any potential price increase next month – and immediate delivery. That means you’ll get your hands on it quicker than ordering from LEGO.com, where it’s currently on back order until September.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
