LEGO ICONS 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine returns on back order

LEGO ICONS 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine is available on back order in the UK and Europe, ahead of what’s likely to be an imminent price increase.

The 1,872-piece DeLorean has proven incredibly difficult to come by since launching earlier this year, having spent most of its shelf life temporarily out of stock at LEGO.com. In fact, it’s still unavailable in the US – where it’s already gone up in price, jumping from $169.99 to $199.99 as part of this month’s scheduled RRP increases (following few opportunities to snag it at the original price).

A similar bump could be on the way in September for the UK and Europe, so this is probably your best chance to pick up 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine at its current RRP of £149.99 / €169.99. Current estimates are that it will ship by August 18, 2022, or just over a week from today – so you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on the 3-in-1 set.

This supersized version of the DeLorean can be reconfigured to represent the time machine as seen in any one of the three Back to the Future movies, and includes two brand new and unique minifigures of Doc and Marty. 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine will now race back into our Top 20 LEGO Sets List, where it holds a more-than-justified position. Get those fingers moving at 88mph while it’s still in stock – this is one not to miss, and especially not at the current price.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
