Bookings open for LEGO Ideas 21337 Table Football launch event with Thierry Henry

Sign-ups are now available for the LEGO Group’s launch event for 21337 Table Football, which will take place in Paris later this month – and feature a guest appearance from Thierry Henry.

The two-day ‘immersive experience’ will include a huge LEGO mural build, challenges, giveaways and even a tournament with 21337 Table Football, supported by live commentary. The full list of guest speakers is now also confirmed to include creatives Samir Bantal and Ramdane Touhami, football figureheads Bernard Messi and Jacqueline Coly, legendary footballer Thierry Henry and Barcelona midfielder Alexia Putellas.

You can take part by signing up for one of four general admission time slots here, or booking in for specific talks here. The event will take place on October 29 to 30 from 10am to 6pm, at 35-37 Rue Des Francs-Bourgeois in Paris. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, but capacity is limited, so if you’re keen on heading down it’s probably best to reserve your place in advance.

Several of the talks will be in English, including those with AMO director Bantal and activist Messi, while others – including both discussions with Henry and Putellas – will be in French. You’ll find details of all the talks over on the sign-up page at DICE. Bookings are open now, and the entire event is completely free to attend.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
