LEGO 2K Drive Season 1 Drive Pass trailer released
Check out the latest high-octane trailer for LEGO 2K Drive’s new Season 1 Drive Pass.
Over on their official YouTube channel, the LEGO Group has offered up a look at all of the new content coming to LEGO 2K Drive in the first-ever Drive Pass. We’ll spare you all the nitty-gritty details, since you can check them out in our article covering the Season 1 content. This trailer gives us our first glimpse of the new cars and characters in action, though, so make sure to check it out.
The LEGO Speed Champions 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and Nissan Skyline GT-R, both from the Fast and Furious franchise, are the headliners here. The cars look great in action, and the wild nature of 2K Drive’s gameplay is a nice match to the Fast franchise’s over-the-top action. Players are sure to feel right at home driving Dom’s charger over a series of perilous platforms (in one of the game’s new free challenges).
The Drive Pass does need to be purchased by anyone who doesn’t have the Rivals Edition or Awesome Rivals Edition of the game, but unlike most season/battle passes, it never expires. That means none of the content in Season 1 is time-locked, which is an extremely welcome and exciting change when compared to other modern online games. Everyone can play through at their own pace, and there’s no pressure to buy the pass before time runs out.
