LEGO 40318 MSC Cruises set revealed

A new exclusive tourism set that is only available on selected cruises, LEGO 40318 MSC Cruises, has been discovered.

While LEGO sets that make up the launch range for 2019 are available now, some of the oddities that the year will bring are starting to be revealed in new images. Brickset has added 40318 MSC Cruises to the website’s database, a new set that will be available to buy on the cruise ships this year.

MSC Cruises is a luxury cruise line based in Switzerland. The LEGO Group partnered with MSC Cruises to provide playrooms onboard the company’s cruise liners and release the original exclusive set, 40227 MSC Meraviglia. It seems that this new product replaces the previous one.

40318 MSC Cruises uses 181 pieces in total, but may be sold for a higher price tag than usual for a set of this size due to its exclusive nature.

Those who are not taking a cruise anytime soon may wish to check out other new marine based sets, such as 60221 Diving Yacht and 60240 Kayak Adventure in the City theme or 31088 Deep Sea Creatures and 31090 Underwater Robot in the Creator theme.
