LEGO 40416 Ice Skating Rink to be December freebie

A new Christmas LEGO set has been revealed that will be a promotional gift with purchase item in December – 40416 Ice Skating Rink.

There’s yet another new LEGO Christmas set on the way to help build the spirit of the season. 40416 Ice Skating Rink will be free with LEGO.com orders totalling $150 or more from December 1 until December 24, unless stock runs out before then.

It’s a festive little set that builds a small ice skating rink with a neat turning function that brings some motion to the two minifigures included. The scene is completed with fir trees and a skate hire booth.

For VIPs, there will also be a free gift wrapping set with orders totalling $40, running from December 1 until December 15. That means it will combine with the 40416 Ice Skating Rink, so fans can get double freebies.

Before the December deals start though, there’s the Black Friday weekend to come. LEGO.com’s event kicks off on Friday, November 27, and runs through Monday, November 30.
