LEGO 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute has finally sold out in the UK

40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute has finally sold out at LEGO.com in the UK, but the gift-with-purchase is still available in the US – at least for now.

There’s no word on exactly how long US fans have left to pick up the promo, as the terms and conditions still list the offer’s end date as March 14. That said, the UK deal was originally extended through March 17 (or while stocks last), so a wise bet would be that today is your last chance to grab it with a $100 order.

That ship has already sailed for UK fans, as ordering £100 in LEGO sets will no longer see 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute automatically added to your basket. The LEGO Group has come through with an alternative, however, which means you can still qualify for two different gifts-with-purchase in a single order.

The previously LEGO Store-exclusive 30579 Easter Chick Egg is now available with a £40 spend online, which makes sense given all LEGO Stores in the UK are currently closed under national lockdown rules. A £60 spend, meanwhile, will net you both that freebie and 40449 Easter Bunny’s Carrot House in one fell swoop.

It’s bad news if you were holding out for 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute, then, but good news if you’re feeling seasonal. Either way, there’s plenty available at LEGO.com right now to take you above that order threshold, including 21318 Tree House, which has just returned to the online store after months out of stock.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
