LEGO 40484 Santa’s Front Yard GWP returns for Christmas in July

Last year’s Black Friday LEGO gift-with-purchase 40484 Santa’s Front Yard is available again in the US for Christmas in July.

The festive mid-year promotion is back for 2022, this time with 40484 Santa’s Front Yard. The 317-piece set was originally available as a gift-with-purchase during Black Friday in 2021, but the LEGO Group apparently held at least a few copies back for its annual Christmas in July event in the US.

You’ll need to spend $170 on any and all LEGO sets to qualify for 40484 Santa’s Front Yard, which is available until July 15, or while stocks last. That’s the same threshold as in 2021, so if you missed out during November’s shopping bonanza, you won’t have to pay any extra to catch up now.

It’s a decent little gift-with-purchase, too – even if it doesn’t resemble much of an actual yard – depicting an elf feeding a questionable-looking reindeer. A two-dimensional backdrop frames the snowy scene, creating a festive vignette that should slot right into your LEGO décor come December.

That means this is really one to pick up now and put away until the holidays roll around, but given how much other shopping you’ll likely be doing closer to Christmas, some planning ahead is never a bad thing. The timing of this promo means it’ll also combine with double VIP points next week, from July 12 to 13 – as long as supplies of 40484 Santa’s Front Yard last until then.

40484 Santa’s Front Yard is available with purchases of $170 at LEGO.com in the US until July 15, or while stocks last.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
