LEGO 40527 Easter Chicks gift-with-purchase review

Available with purchases of £65 or more through Easter at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores comes the boxed freebie 40527 Easter Chicks.

From March 25 through to April 16, or while stocks last, all purchases made at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores of £65 / $65 / €65 will automatically receive a free gift-with-purchase of this Easter-themed LEGO set.

40527 Easter Chicks is branded as limited edition and includes two Easter chicks and one giant, multi-coloured egg that splits in two halves, where each chick can sit in one half.

The set has a surprisingly high piece count and a wide range of colourful parts in it, including extras to be able to add a customised look to the giant Easter egg. The chicks themselves are rather terrifying with those giant eyes, and don’t look trustworthy if you ask us. Their designs are fun and colourful thanks to a blend of different yellows and oranges used.

For the qualifying threshold, this is a gift-with-purchase you may not necessarily go out of your way to pick up, but does represent more than fair value in the GWP market.

40527 Easter Chicks is available from March 25 through to April 16 or while stocks last, as a free promotional item with purchases of £65 / $65 / €65 at LEGO.com or in LEGO Stores.

This spend automatically qualifies shoppers for a second gift-with-purchase too – 30583 Easter Bunny – which is otherwise available for the same duration of time with spends of £40 / $40 / €40. A spend of £65 / $65 / €65 will see you receive both 40527 Easter Chicks and 30583 Easter Bunny.

This set was provided by the LEGO Group for review purposes.
