LEGO 5006008 Gift Set to be VIP freebie

A new free gift with purchase item for VIPs has been uncovered, with LEGO 5006008 Gift Set expected to be available soon.

Images of LEGO 5006008 Gift Set have been shared by the Brick Fan, who received them from a reader. It seems that in some US LEGO Stores, fans spending $40 and using their VIP card have already been given the item for free.

As the product is listed on LEGO.com, it may also be available there as part of the same promotion. A wider roll-out across all brand stores is likely, although it is not yet clear if this will be a US only or worldwide deal.

Inside the pack, fans get a card, tags, wrapping paper, stickers and a gift bag – so it might come in handy with Christmas approaching.

Elsewhere in the VIP scheme, fans can now exchange points for digital pictures inspired by LEGO Ideas Friends 21319 Central Perk (review). Two LEGO Star Wars sets are currently on a double VIP points deal – 75248 Resistance A-wing Starfighter and 75253 Droid Commander – both of which will help fans rack up the extra points.
