LEGO Marvel 76217 I am Groot now available for purchase

The newest LEGO Marvel set – 76217 I Am Groot – offers LEGO fans a large-scale version of our favourite flower child, and can be bought today at LEGO.com. 

The set takes its cues from Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2, recreating that film’s Baby Groot character. More action figure than minifigure, he boasts a wide degree of articulation in his arms and legs. Unlike similar products, though, leaf and whip elements lend him a more organic appearance. 

This version of Baby Groot is enormously expressive, thanks to the use of curved elements for his mouth and eyebrows. His large eyes are also likely to tug at a few heartstrings.

In addition to Groot himself, a brick-built cassette tape (containing Awesome Mix Vol. 2) can be found in this set. A display plaque containing information on Groot is also included, although it may be less illuminating than those in previous LEGO sets. 

76217 I am Groot can be had for £44.99 / $54.99 / €49.99, and joins other recent releases (like 76206 Iron Man Figure) that mix up the LEGO Marvel form factor.
