LEGO 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn pops up on LEGO.com
76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn – a rare LEGO Batman release – has appeared on LEGO.com after a long wait.
LEGO sets inspired by DC Comics characters have been around for several years, although their release rate has dropped off lately. The dearth of new DC Comics films (which often inspire such models) is a likely factor, although a few Batman LEGO sets have been trickling out for DC fans.
The latest of these is 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn, a small model aimed at the younger LEGO builder. It doesn’t reference a particular version of these characters, but Harley does seem inspired by her recent comics and animation appearances. The hair is also similar to that from The LEGO Batman Movie, with Batman appearing in his familiar black and yellow outfit.
In terms of buildable items a Batcycle is provided for Batman, while Harley gets a skateboard instead. They’re also respectively armed with a Batarang and a hammer, allowing for some child-friendly fisticuffs to take place.
We’ve actually known of this set for some time, thanks to its discovery on a store shelf back in July. Now it’s finally up for grabs, although it’s not quite the Batman set we’d have hoped for. It’ll cost you £12.99 / $9.99 / €14.99 if you’re looking to buy it.
