LEGO 80101 Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner and 80102 Dragon Dance boxes revealed

Boxed images of the LEGO Group’s exclusive China sets, 80101 Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner and 80102 Dragon Dance, have been released.

A few weeks ago, the LEGO Group announced a big push into the Chinese market, revealing new sets that would be exclusive to China. 80101 Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner and 80102 Dragon Dance are the set names, with Brickset revealing images of the new boxes.

We are excited to announce these major launches for China at the CIIE, and our commitment to this strategic growth market and goals to provide the creative LEGO play experience to the hands of more Chinese children remain unchanged,” said CEO Niels B. Christiansen when the products were announced.

The two sets focus on traditional Chinese New Year traditions, with 80101 Chinese New Year’s Eve Dinner depicting a family coming together to celebrate the lunar new year. 80102 Dragon Dance features a group of performers dancing along with a minifigure dressed for the Chinese New Year of the Pig.
