LEGO ambassadors from the UK and Ireland gather in London

LEGO ambassadors from across the UK and Ireland gathered in London for a networking event with the LEGO Group.

On May 8, 2019, representatives from LEGO User Groups (LUGs) from the UK and Ireland gathered for a networking session with the LEGO Group’s UK team. As well as having some fun with a speed build, the attendees shared ideas, discussed their experiences and took the opportunity to get better acquainted.

The occasion included a tour of the London Hub, a set of offices based in Central London where LEGO employees can work from when in the capital.

Brick Fanatics joined ambassadors – the name given to LUG members who represent their group to the LEGO Group – from The Brickish Association, Brick Alley, Brick Central, Brick.ie, Brickset, Brickshire, Fairy Bricks, London AFOLs, Northern Brickworks and Jedi News, who all convened to discuss ways that the communities could collaborate with the LEGO Group.

With a wealth of experience in the room, plenty of topics were discussed frankly as ambassadors shared their experience to the benefit of one another, and ultimately the wider LEGO fandom.
