LEGO Avatar and Avatar 2 sets confirmed in new interview

A new interview has confirmed that LEGO sets based on Avatar 2 as well as the first film are coming, noting possibilities for recreation and display.

LEGO Avatar 2 appears to be real according to an interview with Stephanie Young, president of consumer products, games and publishing at The Walt Disney Company reported by License Global.

“The LEGO Group will also have a full suite of building sets to recreate and display major movie moments across both the first Avatar film and Avatar 2.” commented Stephanie when asked about what major collaborations are in the works for the sequel

The latest rumours for LEGO Avatar 2 included four sets, listed below, though none of these have been officially confirmed at the time of writing:

75571 – 560 pieces, $39.99 / €39.99
75572 – 572 pieces, $59.99 / €54.99
75573 – 887 pieces, $89.99 / €89.99
75574 – 1,212 pieces, $139.99 / €139.99

The quote mentions that sets for both Avatar 2 and the first film are on the way, offering possibilities for the huge vehicles and creatures seen in the first movie as well as whatever else is to come later this year in Avatar 2.

License Global has been accurate as a source of information in the past, previously confirming Jurassic World models in 2019 as well as 42109 App-Controlled Top Gear Rally Car before it was released in 2020.
