LEGO Bits N’ Bricks podcast discusses the past, present and future of TT Games

The founders of TT Games speak about the video game company’s past, present and future in the latest episode of the LEGO Bits N’ Bricks podcast.

It’s the ninth episode in the ongoing series from hosts Brian Crecente and Ethan Vincent, produced to celebrate 25 years of LEGO video games. Previous instalments have included discussions on LEGO fan power, the LEGO minifigure, and LEGO Island.

This week’s highly-anticipated episode dives into the history behind the developers most closely associated with LEGO video games. TT Games kicked off its huge library of LEGO titles in 2005 with LEGO Star Wars: The Videogame, and has launched dozens of games since – leading up to this year’s release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

You can listen to the founders of TT Games discuss the studio’s formative years, the impact of that very first LEGO Star Wars game, and offer a tantalising tease at the future of its portfolio by clicking play on the YouTube video above, or streaming the episode through your preferred podcasting platform.

The next episode of Bits N’ Bricks will focus on the massively-multiplayer online game LEGO Universe, in the first of a two-part special.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
