LEGO Black Friday 2022 sale preview: Star Wars, Icons, Marvel, Technic
The official LEGO Black Friday sale is now live in Australia, giving us an idea of what to expect in the UK, US and Europe tomorrow.
While we’ll have to wait until midnight for the promised LEGO Black Friday sale in the UK, US and Europe, it’s already November 25 in Australia, where the full list of LEGO sets included in this year’s sale stretches across themes including Star Wars, Icons, Marvel and Technic. A total of 56 sets, accessories, minifigure packs and keychains have been discounted for a limited time only.
Most products are available for 20% or 30% off, with a mix of brand new and retiring sets up for grabs. Highlights include 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum, 75338 Ambush on Ferrix, 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car and 10298 Vespa 125, but there’s plenty of interest even beyond those headliners. There’s no guarantee that the same sets will go on sale in the UK, US and Europe, as the LEGO Group has historically varied sales between different regions. But that’s usually only by a handful of sets, so we can probably expect at least a decent chunk of these sets to also go on sale in other territories.
While many of these prices are not necessarily the best we’ve ever seen on these sets, it’s worth bearing in mind that two different gifts-with-purchase will also be available across the Black Friday weekend: 40564 Winter Elves Scene is free with all purchases over £170 / $170 / €170, while 40563 Tribute to LEGO House is free with orders above £250 / $250 / €250.
You’ll also earn VIP points on all purchases – equivalent to 5% cashback to spend on future purchases or exclusive rewards – if you’re signed up to the VIP program, and the LEGO Group is offering a 75% discount on VIP reward vouchers for this weekend only. Add it all up, and those sale prices start to look much more attractive.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
