LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s Blue Milk Luke is selling for big bucks on eBay
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s Blue Milk Luke polybag is selling for big money on the aftermarket, but there’s a good chance its inflated value will be short-lived.
Only available with the Deluxe Edition of TT Games’ long-delayed video game, which finally arrived on consoles and PC last week, the exclusive minifigure has sold for as much as £96 on eBay in the UK. That’s far beyond the original price of the Deluxe Edition, which came in at just £59.99 – if you were savvy enough to pre-order a copy, or lucky enough to find one on release.
While that particular auction went into the stratosphere, however, it’s not completely reflective of the wider market: most auctions and buy-it-now listings for Blue Milk Luke have sold for around the £30 mark, with a couple of other outliers fetching up to £40. Those are still high prices for a single minifigure, though – particularly when only its face print and blue milk carton are unique.
It’s also enough to recoup at least half of that initial investment in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, making the ambitious and sprawling game even better value for those cashing in on its physical goodies. Over in the US, it’s much the same story: the polybag has settled at roughly $50-60 on eBay, though some hopeful sellers have listed theirs at up to $230.
Unsurprisingly, those higher-priced polybags have yet to sell, and while they have plenty of watchers (at least at the time of writing), it feels likely that a good number of those are simply curious window shoppers keen to see whether Blue Milk Luke really can fetch impressive triple figures. Any outside chance it has of doing so may soon vanish, though – at least if recent rumours are true.
According to the rumour mill, WB Games and the LEGO Group have actually overproduced the Blue Milk Luke polybag (but not, seemingly, the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which is out of stock at LEGO.com and hard to come by anywhere else). The solution for the surplus stock will apparently be to offload it during this year’s May the Fourth event, which could mean the polybag’s value will plummet come next month.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
