LEGO Botanical Collection 10281 Bonsai Tree is back in the UK

One half of the LEGO Group’s current Botanical Collection has blossomed back to life at LEGO.com, as 10281 Bonsai Tree is once again available to order.

Both that set and 10280 Flower Bouquet arrived back at the official online store in the US yesterday, but those of us across the pond were still fresh out of luck. Until today, that is, because 10281 Bonsai Tree is now in stock and ready to ship in the UK.

There’s no telling whether the Botanical Collection set will get chance to put down any roots before the current inventory is snapped up, however, so don’t hang around if you’re keen. And you probably should be, given our glowing review of the 878-piece set.

10280 Flower Bouquet is unfortunately still temporarily out of stock in the UK, while both current Botanical Collection sets have now moved to back order in the US. You can keep up with LEGO.com’s stock levels for either of those regions using our personalised email alerts.

The latest addition to the LEGO Group’s buildable flowers, 10289 Bird of Paradise, will launch on June 1. While you wait for that one – and your order of 10281 Bonsai Tree – to arrive, check out our early review of the third plastic plant in the 18+ range.

Chris Wharfe

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
