LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 pre-orders now open

The five LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 sets are now available to pre-order and you can expect some of them to sell out fast tonight.

Take a break from deliberating on the 300 submissions in Series 6 as the next phase of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is now underway. Crowdfunding has started for the five fan-designed models in Series 3 and one in particular is likely to sell out within the first day.

The selected sets for series 3 have all been successfully transformed into official sets, including the Harbormaster’s Office from Rich_Herbert, Forest Stronghold from Krackenator, Lost City by letsgolegobrick, The Art of Chocolate by brickester and Camping Adventure by KingCreations. They range from £44.99 / $54.99 / €49.99 to £239.99 / $289.99 / €269.99 and they are limited to 30,000 copies each.

Each model will also need a minimum of 3,000 pre-orders to be made as part of the crowdfunding efforts but most have surpassed this threshold in previous series. Since there's a limit of 30,000 copies on the five sets, we recommend putting in your pre-orders sooner rather than later. Crowdfunding will remain open until October 31 or while stocks last and based on previous rounds, you can expect some sets to sell out within the first day.

The Forest Stronghold, Lost City and Harbormaster’s Office are likely to be especially popular thanks to their subject matter and the castle creation should be the top priority for anyone hoping to fund it this month.
