This LEGO build is an actual working Minecraft Zombie spawner

A LEGO YouTuber has created a brick-built Minecraft Zombie spawner that actually works.

YouTuber Brick Machines has created a complex build that can actually make Minecraft Zombies, also made from LEGO elements. All you need to do is give it enough pieces and it will build and stack up Zombies, ready to spawn in the wild.

What’s more, in true Minecraft style, the incoming Zombie will spin around at the top of the LEGO spawner, much as it does in the actual game. Every detail has been considered to make this as realistic as possible, from the brick-built container designer to look like an in-game spawner to a pen attachment that draws eyes onto the figures.

“There’s everything you could want in the spawner, including a spinning Minecraft zombie, flames, a sensor to detect light level, a hopper, a conveyor, and a 3-axis robotic manipulator working with a press to put the zombies together,” writes the YouTuber in the description of his video.

The build is created from a majority of LEGO Technic parts, as well as a number of plate and brick elements that fill out the build. Extra detail and decoration is achieve through flame pieces, mimicking the sparks that fly from the actual Minecraft spawner.

This isn’t the first time that Brick Machines has made a similarly complex but effective build, having also made a TNT Minecart and a Sugarcane Farm out of LEGO elements. You can see their full range of LEGO Minecraft builds in the playlist here.
