LEGO Christmas advert features Ice-Cream Truck stunt

One of the LEGO Group’s series of Rebuild the World adverts for Christmas features a car chase that culminates with 60253 Ice Cream truck doing a ring of fire stunt.

LEGO Rebuild the World continues to be the company’s overarching marketing campaign, with a new Christmas advert recently revealed that shows children unleashing their imagination to mash up different concepts and topics. Some of the small vignettes that feature in the longer version have extended adverts of their own, including this one focused on cars and vehicles.

While it starts with a cop car chasing crooks in their getaway vehicle, it culminates with 60253 Ice Cream sailing through a ring of fire, while the stunt driver gives a confident look to camera.

The live action parts of the footage feature oversized LEGO elements including the familiar LEGO mug and wads of $100 bills.

“Our new campaign is a celebration of the creative power and optimism that children possess,” says the LEGO Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Julia Goldin. “We’ve seen so many families building together this year, giving parents a chance to experience and appreciate how children can build, unbuild and rebuild the world around them using LEGO bricks. We want to inspire people of all ages to play and unleash their creativity this holiday season.”
