LEGO CITY 2021 sets available early at LEGO.com

The LEGO Group has released 18 brand new LEGO CITY sets ahead of schedule on its online store, including 60292 Town Center and 60304 Road Plates.

Twenty new LEGO CITY sets were originally due to launch on January 1, 2021. Now, all but two of those models are already available to order at LEGO.com. That means you should be able to get your hands on the new road plate system sooner than anticipated (UK shipping restrictions notwithstanding).

Two more sets, 60305 Car Transporter and 60306 Shopping Street, are still due to launch on January 1. But there’s plenty to fill your boots with already – particularly if you just want to test out the headline addition of those new road plates, which you’ll find in 60290 Skate Park, 60291 Family House, 60292 Town Center and (unsurprisingly) 60304 Road Plates.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
