LEGO City 60200 Capital revealed

A new LEGO City centrepiece set will be released later this year, 60200 Capital.

New images from Amazon reveal a new [geot exclude_country=”United States”]LEGO City[/geot][geot country=”United States”]LEGO City[/geot] set focused on the more everyday side of life, with 60200 Capital expected to be released later this year. Brickset spotted the set on the global retailer’s website, where only the images are shared – there is no price and no release date at present.

Several small buildings and vehicles are included to provide a full play experience, most notably a hotel and under-construction museum. An open air sightseeing bus is new to the City theme. Also included in the set is a crane, skate park, ice cream rickshaw, sports car, smart car, petrol pump, Police motorbike and bus stop. It is a mix of items that collectors have had before and novelties, which will make the box at least somewhat desirable for long term fans.

This looks like the kind of set that once would have been a Toys R Us exclusive, but its listing on Amazon suggests that it will be shared between the online retailer and [geot exclude_country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot][geot country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot], or possibly simply released across all retailers.
